Finally after searching and searching. We are getting in some rabbit. We do have Urban carnnivore ground rabbit. These are whole rabbits and I am sure our dogs are going to thanks us.

Quail will also be arriving. It will be great for all those small dogs who find backs and carcasses hard to eat. Plus the kitties will love them

Chicken feet. Who would have thought they would be hard to get. I guess they are popular for the two legged meat eaters too. We will see how much the pooches like them too.

We also have a new dehydrated. It is from Addiction. The product is really great. My dogs wolfed it down. Different protein sources. Kangaroo, brush tail . Plus we have their canned food and one even had eel !!

Lots of new toys and always different treats. Drop in and see whats in store

Finally venison is coming and we are adding Ostrich to our menu

After a long long wait Venison is finally going to be on the menu again. Hopefully by the beginning of December.

I have been searching for Ostrich at a resonable price. The cheapest I could find it was for $6.00 a pound my cost !!!! So now I hope hope hope I will be able to buy it and sell it for 5.00 a pound. I know that is still expensive but it will be a nice treat once in awhile.

On October 4th and 5th we will be having a large open house at our farm

We are on The Gates Open Savour Durham tour. This will cause some problems getting in and out of the store in a timley mannor. If it is possible please come any other day that week. We will be available all week to try and make up for this.

New Items for Heronview

Today we got a shipment in of Pets for Life. We are starting with the Lamb and Duck. Looks great and the dogs can't wait for supper tonight when they will have some to try it out. I brought in the 3lb tubs and the 1 lb tubs.

I have Urban Carnivore in stock also. We are trying the crumps liver treats this time too. My dogs loved them when I talked to the owners of the company and they gave me some to try.

Watch for the new Northern Biscuits receipe also. I was told yesterday they are ready to ship out. They are grain free and the ingridients sound yummy

Dog Days was a blast

We had so much fun at Dog Days again this year. Met lots of new people and got to see lots of friendly faces we already new.

Was wonderful metting so many people who are interested in switching to raw. Do it you will not be sorry

Dog Days of Scugog

Saturday and Sunday July 19th and 20th is Dog Days of Scugog. Held at the Scugog Museum. We will have a booth there. Please drop by if you are in the area and say hello. We have just got in an order of great toys. Can't take the raw with us but will have our feed sentials supplements and Shemp oil. Great treats for the pooches also

Goat cubes are now on the Heronview Menu

Starting this week I will be selling goat cubes. They are 1 - 2 " squares of goat meat with the bone in. Dogs have no problem eating these little cubes and the bones are no bigger then the bone in the ground up chicken. I need to start taking pictures of all the new and exciting things we have.

We also brought in the new treats from Eagle. They are 90% meat and the rest is not filler . My taste testing crew love them !!

We have added trachea to our menu :-)

The store freezers are bursting with goodies

It happened again. We are getting so much great stuff I went and got another freezer today !! This makes freezer number 5. Thanks goodness we are lucky enough to find people who want to find homes for their freezers. Just in time too!! I picked up 200 lbs today of the most vile smelling tripe. My drive home with it was awful. I had taken Heidi with me and she spent the drive home with her head hanging over the bin taking deep breaths. Dogs are weird. Got home and all the dogs gathered round the van,even the cats appeared I am surprised dogs from a few miles away never showed up !!

We also got more beef tongues this week. I am my dogs hero's. If you have not fed your dog tongue yet then you have not seen your dog in heaven.

New to the store is Lamb shanks. They have lots of meat on them .Lots of chew time to eat them too.
